Welcome to my online manga! For the Love of Yaoi is a comedy/romance/adventure/fantasy comic, based in a D&D-style setting... with a twist, of course. ^_~ Jealous demons, fruity elves, and ambiguous mages abound! There might even be a cute mascot and a magical girl or two in there... ^_~
Anyway, I will be posting a new installment of the manga semi-regularly (say, once a month or so), all depending on my part-time jobs and school, of course.
This is an original manga, by the by, so that means all characters, stories, likenesses, etc are copyright by yours truly, Maria Lorimer. If you dare to steal any of said copyrighted material, I shall hunt you down with vengeance in my heart and a Bag-o-Ancient-Torture-Devices ™ in my hand. Be afraid. Be very afraid.

Took down the disable right-click code on the main page. ^_^;; I had it up to discourage people from stealing images, but realized belatedly that this also prevented people from right-clicking on my banners to save them. So, the no-right-click feature is on just about all my other image-filled pages, but not the main page. ^_^ Also, added dropdown lists that link to a bunch of other really nifty webcomics! Check the bottom of the page for the dropdowns. ^_^ Still working on part 6... Should have it up by Easter, along with some new artworks. ^_^

Added the FTLY Yahoogroups sign-up box. Join today! News, previews of pics and issues of FTLY, and maybe even the occasional side-story will be posted here. ^_^ Also, a forum for those who'd like to discuss yaoi and fantasy stuff in general. In other news, still trying to get part 6 inked, while at the same time getting my schoolwork done and fighting off this icky illness thingy... >.< Wheeee...

School is kicking the shite outta me, but I snuck away from the term paper research to play with my site. ^_^;; Tweaked the Keenspace page... Take a look at it HERE. Still not working on some things, but hopefully it'll start posting THREE times per week now instead of once. ^_^ SO, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday will be the posting days on the Keenspace page... By the time it gets caught up with this site, I'll hopefully have some more issues done. ^_^ That'll be sometime in May though... *snicker* ^_~ Also, added new title pic at top of page and background wallpaper. No, it is not an alternative spelling for a naughty word. ^_~ It stands for "Frequently Un-asked Questions", as in I made up a bunch of useless questions and answers for the pure fiendish fun of it. At 2 am. Go figure... 9_9 Anyway, like most of this page, for amusement purposes only (although you never know, I may have sneaked in a few informative bits as well ^_~).

1/2/02 NEW!!!
In which a mysterious woman is introduced, Cylanu crosses the line, and Tristyn and Pader both go to Merlot. Wow, exciting, eh? Well I can't give the whole plot away, can I? Read, peasants! Er, I mean, please continue, pleasant readers. ^_^;; Also, a belated HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! BTW, this was drawn totally freehand with my shibby new fountain pen (except for some computer airbrush effects to hide the worst of the mistakes... ^_^), so pardon the poor lettering quality and occasional drawing mistake. ^_^;; It's the plot that counts, right? *falls over from bad punniness...* Anyhoodlies...

Part Five: Secrets and Confessions
In which Zan is introduced, some truths about Pader are revealed, and Tristyn has an owwie. o.O;; This is quite possibly the most waffy, shounen-ai-ish issue yet! Yes, even better than the hot spring, because it isn't nearly as disturbing. ^_~
Wow, I managed to get out a new issue in almost a month after the last one! I feel proud of me now. ^_^ It took little time to actually computer edit this, as you may have noticed I now hand-letter all the text (which is messier, but faster), and I only used the airbrush for certain effects. Maybe sloppier, but hey, it's up! ^_^ This is a temporary format, since it takes forever for me to code the html for the actual navigational pages, but it's fairly simple to use. I also don't have a title pic up yet. Gomen. I'll get my lazy arse around to it sometime this week. ^_^;;
Contest: DEADLINE HAS PASSED!!! But go ahead and send me fanart, anyway... ^_~ As much as I love to draw my own pictures, I really enjoy seeing other people's artwork as well! So, if you're bored, or like this manga, or both, consider drawing a fanart for me! Please? Pretty please? With a cherry and whipped cream and hot fudge on top? (Mm, that sounds good right about now...) I'll have a poll up so guests can vote for their favorite fanart pics. Winners get prizes!
